Hope into Darkness
This image is called Hope into Darkness and was my first digital painting. At the time my teen daughter, was also ill M.E. like myself, and a friend' daughter was diagnosed with the worst type of leukaemia. Both these teenage girls were thrown into a place of suffering that felt endless, dark & impenetrable.
As I prayed & painted this vivid image emerged of Gods gift of hope by His presence coming into the darkness of suffering to sustain and strengthen them. Jesus light of hope is always able to shine into a dark place and it's His hope that sustains us in suffering which the world cannot give.
The wording underneath reads:
'Hope into darkness'
